Composition

Active
Florfenicol 300.00 mg/mL.

Excipients
Polyethylene glycol 150.0 mg.
N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 250.00 mg.

Indications for use

Treatment of acute outbreaks of respiratory disease caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to florfenicol.

Dosage/ Administration

15 mg/kg bodyweight (1 mL/20 kg) administered IM in the neck twice at 48-hour intervals.

Contraindications/ warnings, etc.

Do not administer to boars intended for breeding. Transient diarrhoea and/or peri-anal and rectal erythema/oedema may affect 50% of animals. No more than 3 mL per site.

Withdrawal Period

18 days.

Glass vials containing 20, 50, 100, 250, and 500 mL.
