Nuflor^® 4% Premix

Nuflor 4% Premix is a fast-acting feed premix for swine containing 40 mg florfenicol/g. For prevention and treatment of PRDC in growing and fattening pigs.

• Quickly moderates clinical signs while protecting healthy pigs from disease.
• Approved in the EU for the treatment and prevention of swine respiratory disease in infected herds due to Pasteurella multocida; and approved in the US for the control of swine respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, P. multocida, Streptococcus suis, and Bordetella bronchiseptica.
• Short 5-day program for mass medication of an entire building or herd.
• Feed in swine rations to deliver a target a dose rate of 10 mg/kg BW/day.
• Highly palatable.
• Safe and well tolerated, with a wide margin of safety if accidentally overdosed.
• Short (14-day) withdrawal period.

Applications and timing

• Ideally, feed just prior to the development of clinical signs in the group or when clinical signs are at very low prevalence.
• Must manage pigs and environment for maximum feed intake.
