Merck Animal Health’s Antimicrobials for the Treatment of PRDC

Treating respiratory disease in pigs is a difficult task. The numerous pathogens, interactions between the pathogens and different variables on individual farms make it a complicated syndrome. When bacteria are involved in the syndrome, either as primary pathogens or opportunitic pathogens, the use of antimicrobials is indicated.

These products offer the advantages of four different antimicrobial actives:

• cefquinome

Three different routes of administration:
