Paracillin^® SP

Paracillin SP is a soluble powder for administration via drinking water. It contains 80% amoxicillin trihydrate (of which 70% is amoxicillin). Paracillin SP is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to amoxycillin including Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and is registered for use in swine and poultry.

• An effective amoxicillin formulation for drinking water medication.
• Broad indications for swine respiratory diseases.
• Also indicated for intestinal disease in swine.
• Batch treatments.
• Very short withdrawal period - can be used near the end of the finishing period.
• Highly soluble product for drinking water medication - the product is highly soluble reaching a homogenous solution very quickly, 3g of amoxicillin can be dissolved per liter (4,25 gr of product).
  If higher concentrations are needed (Dosatron equipment) WCM93 can be used to improve solubility.
• Combined treatment is possible - can be used in combination with injectable products from the penicillin family or cephalosporins (e.g. Cobactan^® 2.5%).
