Description and Vaccination Program

Description
M+PAC is for use as an aid in the prevention of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection in swine.  Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae is a major contributor to Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex (PRDC).

Composition
M+PAC is Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae Bacterin which contains the safe and smooth diluent Emunade® for faster acting, longer lasting protection with less tissue reaction and excellent syringability.

Formulation
Ready-to-use inactivated vaccine.

Indications
For use as an aid in the prevention of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection in swine

Vaccination
M+PAC as a two-dose program: the first 1mL dose is given intramuscularly (IM) at 7 days or more of age and a second dose 1mL dose is given IM 14-28 days later.

M+PAC as a one-dose program: M+PAC has also been demonstrated to provide excellent disease prophylaxis when administered as a single 2-mL dose IM from 21 days.

Presentation
Vials containing 50 ml, 250 ml, and 500 ml

Storage
Store the product between +2°C and +8°C including during transport. Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Contra-indications
Do not vaccinate unhealthy animals. Do not vaccinate pregnant or lactating animals.

Precautions
M+PAC should not be mixed with other medicaments or vaccines. Part used containers of the vaccine should be discarded within 8 hours of opening.

Any unused product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with national requirements. Avoid the introduction of contamination during use.

Extreme caution should be used when injecting any oil emulsion vaccine to avoid injecting your own finger or hand. Accidental injection can cause serious local reaction. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
